Installation

  1. Can I install the software myself? Yes, you can. Especially the Yahoo! Zimbra – Caringo CAStor connector can be done easily. But if you have a System Integrator they can do the installation for you.

Compatability

  1. Is your software compatible with SharePoint 2007 and the upcoming SharePoint 2010? Yes, our software is fully compatible with both versions.
  2. Is your software compatible with Yahoo! Zimbra Collaboration Suite 5.0 and 6.0? Our software is compatible with version 5.0. Version 6.0 will be added soon. Subscribe to our RSS feed to be informed when this will happen.

Licensing

  1. Do you work with licensing? Yes, our licensing structure is as follows: You pay a license fee based on the number of servers (SharePoint) or mailboxes (Zimbra). This fee is a one-time fee. You will pay a yearly maintenance fee.

Cloud Storage Platforms

  1. Which cloud storage platforms do you connect? For Zimbra at this moment we only connect to a Caringo CAStor based Cloud Storage Server. For SharePoint we connect to Windows Azure, Amazon S3, EMC Atmos, Caringo CAStor and Parascale.
  2. Can I change from Cloud Storage Provider? With our software it is possible to change from Cloud Storage Provider. You are not locked in, you have a freedom of choice. Even after you have made an initial choice, you can still later swap from Cloud Storage Provider.
  3. I work for a Cloud Storage provider and we are not in your list. Can we be added? We are always interested to add more cloud storage solutions so please get in touch with us
